Rah Rah (Suzani) Soumak

Colorful striped soumak accent rug. Soumaks are typically made by Kurdish weavers in Iran and can in layman's terms be described as a "hybrid" between flat-weave kilim and hand knotted pile rugs.
"Rah" which means road, describes the band like pattern which characterises this type of rug.
